Commencement of Cable Laying Operation of Medium Voltage Power Lines

In line with SAED’s objectives on expediting the pre-requisites concerning the commissioning of one of the crude trains, 18 cable runs of 1×300 MV were laid for 5 kilometers for the purpose of powering 2 transformers of medium voltage extending from Power substation 132/11 of Azar Oil Field to Power Substation 1 of Central Processing Facilities.
This operation of cable laying was carried out at the medium voltage power line of 11KV to power the transformers of 11/6 KV belonging to Power Substation 1 of Central Processing Facilities (CPF). Joining of the cables will be included in the work order after the relevant transformers have been installed.
It is worth noting that necessary measures for running the rest of main subsurface cable routes and simultaneous installation of supports and cable trays, etc. have been included in the Contractor’s to do list in order to complete the electrical operations in the industrial buildings.
